Birthday Parties

Please do not allow your child to bring in birthday invitations to school as children who are not invited can feel left out. Birthday cakes are not allowed in school.

Lunch Packaging

Please ensure your child has a re-usable bottle of water every day.  Your child will bring their lunch packaging home with them.

Child Safety

Parent's/Guardians, please be vigilant in terms of your child's safety.  Regular reminders to your child of the rules around strangers will support the work currently being done in the school.  The children are taught two rules.

1.  Never go anywhere with a stranger.

2.  Never take anything from a stranger.

We sing our school song at assembly and for special occasions. These are the words:

Our school is St. Patrick's
From Early Start to Second Class,
We work and play and eat together,
Friendships we'll have forever.

Chorus:

St. Patrick's, St. Patrick's Junior School,
The place to be,
St. Patrick's Junior School,
The best for you and me.

Our Green Flag flies for all to see,
A tidy school don't you agree?
We read and write and learn new things,
Teachers and children sing.

In Corduff our school you'll find,
Everyone here is nice and kind,
Helpful and caring, friendly too,
Céad míle fáilte to you!
