Our School

St. Patrick's Junior School was established in 1976 as a co-educational school. It serves 230 children approximately from Junior Infants to Second Class and also provides an Early Start programme.    

Our Mission Statement

The school's mission statement states:

The aim of our school is to provide happy and stimulating learning experiences in a safe, secure and supportive environment for our children, taking into account the social, physical, emotional, creative and spiritual well being of each child, at the same time cultivating good habits, respect for each other, for the school and the environment.

Our Schedule:
A Roman Catholic School (which is established in connection with the Minister for Education) aims at promoting the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person of the pupil, intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and other people. The school models and promotes a philosophy of life inspired by belief in God and in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Catholic school provides Religious Education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and promotes the formation of the pupils in the Catholic Faith.

The school's aims are:
1. To enable children to reach their potential in all areas of the curriculum

2. To enable children to be happy, secure and socially well adjusted
