Science Week in Room 11

17th Nov 2023

Our school celebrated Science Week this week and the children in Room 11 had great fun doing experiments. We made 'Orange Volcanoes' using oranges, baking powder, food colouring and vinegar. We also explored how air can force things to move. We blew through straws to try to get pom-poms into cups and also made very tall 'Bubble Towers' by blowing into cups of soapy water. The last experiment we did was the 'Dancing Raisins' experiment where we saw our raisins dancing in fizzy water. Well done to all the little scientists in Room 11!
