Green-Schools is an environmental management and education programme for schools.
Our school is very proud to have been awarded five Green-School flags so far.
Our 5 Green Schools flags have been awarded for environmental awareness and care within the following themes:
- Litter and Waste
- Energy
- Water
- Travel
- Biodiversity
We are currently working towards our sixth green flag, Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste.
Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste is a maintenance theme, which enables schools to discover how Green-Schools work has positively influenced people and environments worldwide while revising the previous Litter and Waste theme.
We have had many wonderful Green Schools Committees in our school.
Our current Green Schools Committee is made up of girls and boys from Second Class who are leading our school in looking after our environment and taking care of our beautiful world.
