Congratulations to our own Barbara O'Neill (retired vice-principal) who was awarded 'Sports Volunteer of the Year' by Fingal County Council at an awards ceremony, which took place on Monday.
The Fingal County Council Awards for the Sports Club Volunteer and Sports Clubs of the Year, recognised Barbara's tremendous contribution to her club Castleknock GAA over the last twenty years. Activities spanned from Coaching, Dermot Earley Youth Leadership, Nursery, Scrudú Beál, Healthy Club and more recently Child Club Officer.
We are all very proud of Barbara's achievement in getting this prestigious award.
