We learn when we play.
We take turns at the different learning stations each day. This month, we started learning about materials when we read the story The Three Little Pigs. Then we began to learn lots of new words to use during Aistear. We plan our play carefully together each day. We love the roleplay area where we plan our new buildings and get to work with our tools. We also enjoy examining and playing with the different materials we learned about during Science. We even use special magnifying glasses to take a closer look. In our smallworld area, we use our toys diggers and blocks to imagine our builder dolls are really building. Our classroom is full of excited conversations as we chat and develop our language together.
