St Patrick’s JNS Active Week June 15th – June 23rd
To start our Active week this year we are inviting the parents to join us as the whole school takes part in a fun run/walk around the Astro pitch at Corduff Sports Centre on Thursday 15th June at 9.25. As an Active school the parents’ role is important in their children’s fitness levels. All classes will be taking part and you can run/walk alongside your child with their class as they complete 3 laps together. The children can wear bright colours on the day if they wish.
During Active week the children will be doing lots of outdoor activities and sports for the week therefore we ask that
- Children wear appropriate footwear and tracksuits
- Active homework replaces written homework this week and the children are aiming for 60mins daily!
- Please ensure your child has their sun cream on and a water bottle to school each day
